Ryan Tana was inspired from his 8 years spent in his motherland of Japan, home of the best soft serve ice cream he ever had. He wanted to a bring a piece of delicious Japan home to the U.S. but also wanted to make a social impact, targeting the societal pressure of traditional hard masculinity.
